Installing Gizmo Extension on a Mac or PC
If you have a Mac or Windows computer then you need to download the Gizmo Robot extension in a special mode. See the instructions below.
Getting the Extension Code
Download the Gizmo Robot Extension .zip file and save it on your Desktop.
2. Either on your Desktop or in a folder, extract the contents of the .zip file. Remember its location.
3. Now, navigate chrome://extensions.
In the top right corner, turn the switch for Developer Mode to On. A new set of buttons will appear.
Click on Load Unpacked to add the Gizmo robot extension to your Chrome browser.
4. Navigate to where you extracted the .zip file earlier in the process and select the ‘Gizmo Extension Code’ folder.
5. The new extension should appear in chrome://extensions. If you have a lot of extensions installed you may need to scroll down.
You will need the extensions ID to be able to use it on the Scratch webpage. The ID looks like a long string of characters. Copy the long string onto your clipboard.
